1984 by George Orwell was originally published in 1949 but now, in 2021, its lessons have never been more relevant. 

In the book, Orwell seemingly predicts the future with ideas of Big Brother, The Ministry of Truth, Doublespeak, and Thought Police. And here we are today, with government and large corporations spying on us through our phones and cameras. We have Fact Checkers to tell us what is supposedly true. And lastly we have Cancel Culture, that calls for the censorship of words and ideas they disagree with. Exactly as Orwell wrote in this, his final novel. 

The book has seen many printings and has had a myriad of cover art created for it. This poster could also serve as a book cover for a future publisher. It has a lot of dystopian symbolism represented. Most notably, the 3 Wise Monkeys that represent, See, Hear, and Speak No Evil. 

They are seated on a book whose title is hard to decipher but reads “Thought Crime -vol. 1”.
