The New Modern Coin Magic, by J. B. Bobo, was first published in 1952. Now, almost 70 years later, it is just as relevant. It is a veritable encyclopedia of coin sleights and concealments that is topped off with routines from some of the greatest minds in magic.

The book has undergone numerous printings from various publishers over the years, Most notably is Dover Books, who flooded the magic market with its inexpensive paperback edition.

With each new publisher of the book, we seem to get a different cover. Most are bland abstracts. At least Dover put diagrams from the original on the cover of its edition. But even that seems lackluster.
So I put my mind to designing an amazing image that tells the books story in a single image – Making Coins Disappear! I used a Walking Liberty half dollar as the central image and recreated it in meticulous detail. This would have been the coin of choice for J.B. Bobo when he performed all those years ago.

This is available in a 16″ x 20″ format.  (40.64 x 50.8 cm)

It is printed on matte poster paper to limit smudging and with UV resistant inks to preserve color fastness.
