One year I was driving back from visiting family in Pennsylvania and I took a wrong turn. This led me down a path of discovery to one of the greatest hidden gems in the USA. The New River Gorge in West Virginia! If you have never been I urge you to go. Its like a small Grand Canyon on the east coast. There is  white water rafting, hiking, rock climbing and if you are a thrill seeker you can walk under the largest steel span bridge west of the Mississippi, as cars roar above your head and the river roars hundreds of feet below.
After discovering this gem I went back in the winter when I knew they had snow. There I traveled to Babcock State Park to see the Grist Mill. It’s a picture perfect post card spot if ever there was one. This was my view on that gloriously cold and snowy day. Luckily I was able to sit in my car and create this masterpiece while keeping nice and warm.

It is printed on matte poster paper to limit smudging and with UV resistant inks to preserve color fastness.
