It was August in Utah. It was my first day in Canyonlands National Park and it was a mostly sunny day. But as the afternoon rolled in so did the clouds. The temperature dropped over 60 degrees in less than hour. It went from 90 to 30 real quick. The sudden storm seemed to fill the sky and the sun streamed in through the clouds. I was lucky enough to snap this photo at the Islands In The Sky Overlook. A few moments later it started snowing! Snow, in the desert, in August. Wild wild stuff.

And in case you were wondering, crepuscular rays, are the scientific name of the fingers of light that seems to magically reach down from the sky.
