Cards As Weapons is the first book written by magician, Ricky Jay. The book’s claim to fame, and indeed Ricky’s forte, was about the art of throwing playing cards. Throwing cards, with accuracy, speed and power – like a weapon.

The original book featured Ricky on the cover poised in the act of throwing a card, but hinted at a western motif. I took that spirit to completion and have 2 people dueling in the street like old west gunslingers and ends with a “perfectly placed shot from an ordinary playing card“.

The book is sadly out of print right now and copies of it can run upwards of $300! Thankfully you can get my poster for a fraction of the price.

This is available in a 16″ x 20″ format.  (40.64 x 50.8 cm)

It is printed on matte poster paper to limit smudging and with UV resistant inks to preserve color fastness.
